EDIT 4/17/2013 by Admin: Fixed this link to go to the correct page location...
Or... if you have a great tip to share, post it here and I will also post a formal version on the Huntron web site (with credit given of course).
Thanks.

Forgot to mention, the link supplied by Support above links to past Quick Tips. The current Quick Tip is posted on the Technical Support page:
http://www.huntron.com/sales-support/techsupport.htm (http://www.huntron.com/sales-support/techsupport.htm)
I sent you in pm
Didn't see a new PM but I suspect that it was to report the link above being broken. True. We redesigned the Huntron web site and that page no longer exists. All of the Quicktips are now directly on the Technical Support page:

Just added a Quick Tip on the new Pin Travel Update feature in the latest software release. Use one of the Quick Tips links above to get to the Technical Support page.
Thanks.
The latest Tech Support Quick Tip deals with the Drain feature controlled in the Tree pane/Ranges tab.
Have a look:

I take the " Drain feature is only available on Workstation 4?
Sounds useful, any more features like this on Workstation 4 using just a Huntron and Scanner, no Prober?
The Drain feature will work with all current design Trackers meaning the Model 30, 2800/2800S and 3200S. It is more of a Tracker feature than a Prober feature.
I take it that the Pro Track could do the same thing with the addition of a MOSFET on the input with the gate connected to the Pulse Generator or external signal source to momentarily ground a troublesome jitter caused by a capacitor.
A relay would work as well but controlling it when you need it would be more of a challenge.
So how have you done it Curtis on models after the Pro Track?
There is a internal relay that can connect test (signal) to Common.
Is the internal relay included in the diagnostic tests, I can imagine the relay contacts may get a bit pitted discharging caps after a while.
So turn on resistance of a MOSFET not good enough or maybe relays still cheaper!
There are currently 23 Quick Tips posted on the Huntron website. I am currently in the process of creating video versions of each for our YouTube channel. At the time of this post there are 4 video Quick Tips.
