Just wondered what the difference might be between Huntron 2000, 2000A, and 2000B ....is there any difference to operator usage?
thanks

They are functionally all the same. The 2000B was slightly different in that the 400Hz frequency could be set internally to be 200Hz. This was a change for the US Navy who wanted the range to match the Tracker 5100DS which used a set 200Hz frequency.

Besides the Navy requirement, is there any advantage functionally between the 400hz (2000A) and 200hz (2000B)?
Is one better then the other?

I understand that the 2000A and 2000B are functionally the same and that the 2000A had a frequency of 400hz and the 2000B had a frequency of 200hz due to a Navy requirement.

Which is more useful the 400hz or 200hz frequencies?
Are there any issues with either when it comes to identifying circuit faults?

No advantage unless you are looking for a specific frequency requirement.

I have merged this topic with another dealing with the same topic.
Thanks.
