Last post by admin - November 30, 2023, 02:47:47 PMYes. There are 20 Groups beside SMT, Passive, Factory, TLL, Caps, etc. that can be configured by the user. This is done through the front panel. Press Menu, then Group Edit, then select the Group (Button just below the Menu button) and rotate the encoder until you see Group 20. You can edit this one or any of the other 19 Groups. Use the Name button to change the Group name if you want.

The factory default setup has resistance:
Low 54 Ohm
Mid 1 1.24 KOhm
Mid 2 27.6 KOhm
These resistance setting are not selectable through the encoder nub.
Can users set up resistance besides the 13 selectable ones?

Protrack keep failing on the same voltage and some times on the 2nd voltage after its been on for longer.
And if it's been on for longer tge voltage it fails at is a bit higher.
Please see picture of failed voltages.

Due to loose scrws under the main board I had to get them out before turning it back on.
Removed almost everything. Then found something very interesting in the back side of the main board. A bridge of dirt from channel A to common. See picture.
I do have intermittent overvoltage massages on this unit. After a good cleanup, we will see if it happens again.

Please check power supply points:
The reference point for all voltage measurements is the Protrack front banana socket common. Multimeter common to Protrack common.
LOCATION VOLTAGE NAME / FUNCTION
L5 (J22 side) +4.75 to +5.25 VDC +5V, +5 volt DC supply for mostly digital circuits
U37 pin 2 (center) +11.4 to +12.6 VDC +12V supply
+5A (near C176) +4.75 to +5.25 VDC +5A, +5 VDC analog supply
-5A (near C176) -4.75 to -5.25 VDC -5A, -5 VDC analog supply
C58 (- lead) -22.8 to -25.2 VDC -24V, -24 VDC analog supply
C64 (+ lead) +22.8 to +25.2 VDC +24V, +24VDC analog supply
U80 (pin 3) -11.4 to -12.6 VDC -12V, -12V LCD supply
These points must also be checked during range changes.
