Hi all,
I have a HTR-1005B-1S with a tired CRT, it takes a while to obtain a trace, and the intensity is low. All CRT and power supply voltages are in spec, so I would like to obtain a replacement CRT for it.

I know Huntron has discontinued support and parts for this unit, but does anyone know the part number for the CRT, or a cross-reference part number?

Yes, I know I could disassemble my unit and find out the CRT number for myself, but it is in daily, constant use, and I would like to minimize its downtime.

Thanks all.

What is the serial number of the unit? Different CRTs were used depending on when it was made.
Thanks.

According to part numbers, the CRT was a Toshiba P31. Can you verify this? Huntron still has them at $250.00 each (!).

P31 denotes the phosphor being used in the CRT
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphor
There should be a longer parts number for the CRT, such as 12ACP31, 3ADP31, 5BHP31, 8CP31.
Usually the first one or two digits indicate the heater voltage.
I will open 'er up and see if I can find the exact part number for my CRT.

The last MFG number I can find is 85DB31 from  Toshiba.
