I think this is pretty useful if you do a lot of hand probing with Huntron Workstation. It would let you work the buttons at the bottom of the window when your hands are busy holding the probes (see image).

There is a Stream Deck Foot Pedal made by Elgato that works with the Huntron for manual probing. The Foot Pedal has 3 programmable Switches allowing a Tech to trigger hands-free assigned action(s) through a very simple app to do the programming.  The switch pressure is adjustable as well. I have the switches set up to tab Left, select, & tab right, which allows the Tech to manual probe a PCBA / Module without having to set the test leads down.

Do tell...
Actually, anyone can download and install the latest version of Workstation. However, you will need an activation code to use it.

Was Workstation 4 (even unlicensed) ever installed on this PC. Maybe a lingering newer driver was installed by Windows. Just speculating here. No free time to give it a try myself.

your post is from a long time ago. but I wanted to let you know, Just found out I am able to use WS 3.5.4 and Huntron in window 10. I think it would work for windows 7 too, only if I remembered what I did. but it really works on my windows 10 System. the only thing, "help" does not work. when help is selected in any window it opens the web browser on  a Microsoft page stating Help is not supported... . WS 3.5.4 functionally works with my ProTrack, hand probing and scanning both work on my windows 10 system. :D  ;D  :P

Out of Production Hardware / Re: Lost trace line on 2700

Good job! The 2700 was our first Tracker with a LCD and was not very good as far as display speed. If you are used to CRT Trackers than the 2700 is less than stellar.

Alrighty then....

Hey Dummy, if the fuses are blown replace them first, DoH!

It appears to be working now. I ran it through the diagnostic test procedure and it runs all the way through without issue and using the Huntron ASA test board I am getting what I would expect to be good signals. I have not yet compared with our 2 workhorse 2000's.

I do have yet another question, the signal line on the display is 'pulsing', is this normal behavior for the 2700? (We bought this machine used and it has never been used since it was not working so we do not know what the expected behavior is supposed to be.)

Personally I like the green phosphorous displays, no flicker, no pixelation, no pulsing. Just good clean signals. We also have VI Curve Tracer setup on an old Tektronix and it is bright, instant response and super clean signaling.

I want to thank everyone who has helped in this thread!
