Hello
Can anyone tell me where the K45 relay is located on the main Board , I have located the other three any help would be great.
Thanks
Gulfway
serial number KJ3 version: Starting around the front "A" channel corner:
K33 relay (channel A is short to channel B),
K34 relay (channel A is short to GND),
K35 relay (channel A input relay - front banana socket),
K45 relay (channel B input relay - front banana socket),
K36 relay (channel B is short to GND).
K37 relay (channel A Low/High range)
K38 relay (channel B Low/High range)
They are located under the CRT.
serial number KJ2 version: Starting around the front "A" channel corner:
K33 relay (channel A is short to channel B),
K34 relay (channel A is short to GND)
K35 relay (channel A and channel B input relay - front banana socket) (double pole single throw contact)
K36 relay (channel B is short to GND)
K37 relay (channel A Low/High range)
K38 relay (channel B Low/High range)
K45 relay not included
They are located under the CRT.

Thank You , looks as I need to get my eyes checked

I have replaced all of the relays , listed in the report and still getting the same error.
Any thoughts ?
Have enclosed the complete report file.
Try reprogramming the Flash Prom on the ProTrack.
Does it work well when used in desktop mode (without a workstation)?
I have reprogrammed the unit , still no luck .
The unit in stand alone mode display this as pictured .
Test procedure Protrack:

Check the range resistors on the ProTrack input circuitry. Damage to these is the common problem we see.
Thanks.

I believe the Relays here under the CRT can cause some strange problems on an old ProTrack as shown on attached photo.
An update on the fault would be interesting.
I have checked all of the range resistors they are OK.
fetron pointed out a document that helped me isolate the problem to a (cdi 215D5FS) dc to dc convertor U49 that did not pass any voltage to the regulator.
Are there any current model dc convertors ? this part number is very old I may have to buy from overseas at a very high price.
Thanks fetron for the help

The original dc-dc converter pinout:
(1) +5V input, (2) -15V output, (3) output common, (4,5,6,7,8) blank, (9) not connected,
(10) output common, (11) +15V output, (12) input common
The new dc-dc converter:
A conversion board is required due to the terminal deviation.

Thanks for the input, fetron. That part looks like a better solution than the original!
Thank you fetron for the help, I will order today.
