Post by: ereides on August 07, 2012, 12:38:47 AM
Hello,

I got a new computer with windows 7 and after the installation of the software I see that the two cameras are working well but I canot do align or other functions with the tracker, there is something special to do with the installation of the software in windows 7?
Seems to me that the computer does not communicate with the prober.

Hello again

After investigate the problem, I found that the driver for HS-20USB was not installed, I installed it but did not solve the problem, may be possible that for windows 7 is needed another driver?. I canot define the tracker in Options because the software canot found the port or the device in the port.

Thank you.

Hi Ereides,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Is Windows 7 a 64bit version? If yes, this may be the problem. The latest Workstation release supports 64bit Windows OS. You can download it from the web site Software page:
http://www.huntron.com/sales-support/software.htm (http://www.huntron.com/sales-support/software.htm)

You will need to have updated Workstation Maintenance to use it.

Thanks.

Curtis

Also, Ereides, you should manually install the drivers if you are running 64BIT Windows 7. The readme file tells you about this.

Steve is correct. Windows 7 64 bit is funny about that.
