General Discussion / Curtis is retiring!
Last post by admin - December 17, 2024, 12:21:11 PM
Hello everyone,
After 33.5 years of working for Huntron I am hanging up my Technical Support hat and moving on into retirement. It has been a pleasure to work with the many Huntron customers and users over the years. Huntron is a great company and I know our reputation for exceptional customer service will always be a priority.

Admin duties on this forum will be handled mostly by the new Tech Support guru, JB Short. Go easy on him!  ;D

I may poke around here from time to time under the user name CW Smith and offer up what knowledge I may still retain.

Cheers and perhaps we will meet in the future at a beach or pub near you!
All the best,

Curtis Smith (Huntronian - Retired)

I think this is pretty useful if you do a lot of hand probing with Huntron Workstation. It would let you work the buttons at the bottom of the window when your hands are busy holding the probes (see image).

There is a Stream Deck Foot Pedal made by Elgato that works with the Huntron for manual probing. The Foot Pedal has 3 programmable Switches allowing a Tech to trigger hands-free assigned action(s) through a very simple app to do the programming.  The switch pressure is adjustable as well. I have the switches set up to tab Left, select, & tab right, which allows the Tech to manual probe a PCBA / Module without having to set the test leads down.

Do tell...
Actually, anyone can download and install the latest version of Workstation. However, you will need an activation code to use it.
